Sculpt & Shade | L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer & Brow Stylist Prep & Shape Pro Kit Review

Sculpt & Shade | L'Oreal Brow Stylist Definer & Brow Artist Genius Kit Review & Swatches | labellesirene.ca

Hey Beauties!

If you have been reading my blog for awhile you will know that my brows are one of the most important parts of my routine. I take my eyebrows way more seriously than anyone should but I firmly believe that good eyebrows make for a good day all around.

With that in mind I am a very loyal brow product user, I have found products that I really love and I tend not to stray but when my favourite drugstore brand comes out with new additions to their brow range, I don’t even hesitate to test them out.

The last time L’oreal Paris came out with brow products I fell in love (read my review) and I still use the Brow Stylist Plumper every single day. Now I can’t wait to add the new Brow Stylist Definer and Brow Stylist Prep & Shape Pro Kit into my daily routine.

The new Brow Stylist Definer retails for $11.99 CAD/$8.99 USD and is the long-awaited affordable answer to the infamous Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. It is a super thin retractable pencil made to quickly and easily shape and fill in the brows. It has a slim plastic body with a dense spoolie on one end and a tiny 0.5 mm pencil on the other.

The thin pencil is the perfect size for sculpting out the shape of the brows and filling them in by recreating the individual hairs. It gives you the ability to manipulate any sort of brow, you can make your natural ones look thicker or you can draw very precise thin lines to create a thin tail. It works in exactly the same way as the Brow Wiz with the same size pencil and same amount of product.

The pencil itself has a really lovely creamy texture with just the right amount of waxiness. It glides on easily and sticks to the skin with and without makeup underneath. It is really nicely pigmented and buildable but can easily be sheered out for a more natural look.

There are 3 shades available blonde, brunette and dark brunette all three of which are cooler toned and very flexible. I tried both blonde and brunette and was able to create various tones and depths that worked for me despite not being my usual shade. I do hope that L’oreal will release more shades with various undertones to suit more people.

The Brow Stylist Prep & Shape Pro Kit retails for $17.99 CAD and comes in 2 shades, light-medium and medium-dark. It is an all in one kit with absolutely everything you need to do your brows in one pocket sized palette.

The Pro Kit is housed in a sleek black compact and includes a tinted wax, a powder, a pair of mini tweezers and an angled brush & spoolie. The kit gives you the ability to really customize your brows, you can use the products individually or together to create brows that are soft and feathery or defined and picture perfect.

The tinted wax tones the natural colour of your brows while mapping out the shape and managing the hairs. The powder is placed on top to further tint and create the look of a full brow while setting the wax. The combination creates budge proof brows that last through water, sweat and time for up to 12 hours.

Both the powder and the wax are smooth, creamy and incredibly pigmented. They glide onto the skin and blend in easily.

Soft Feathery Brow with Pro Kit | Sculpted Brow with Definer

Both the Brow Stylist Definer and the Brow Stylist Prep & Shape Pro Kit are incredible products that rival much more expensive options. They are beautifully packaged and the products inside are creamy, ultra pigmented and long lasting.

I highly suggest picking up one or both of the new L’oreal Brow Stylist products and if you haven’t tried the Brow Stylist Plumper yet, run out and grab one! Both products are out now at your local drugstore.

This looks a lot like the Benefit brow wax! I haven't used that yet, but I love Benefit! Maybe I need to give L'oreal a shot 😉
