Review | Esqido Mink Eyelashes

Hey Beauties!

I haven’t always been a lover of falsies but as I have grown more adventurous and more confident in makeup I have started to experiment in adding a bit of drama to my eyes with a false lash. I have dabbled in Ardell, Kiss and Red Cherry but nothing has compared to the experience that comes with a pair of ESQIDO False Eyelashes

Esqido false eyelashes are handcrafted, naturally derived mink eyelashes, meaning that they are completely cruelty free. The hairs are sourced from the natural shedding process and only the highest quality of hairs are actually used. They are 9 styles available in varying amounts of volume from light to full. All 9 styles were designed to fit different eye shapes and types so that there is a lash perfectly suited for every customer.

Due to the exquisite quality of each pair, Esqido lashes can be used up to 25 times when cared for properly. Whereas the typical synthetic lash can only be worn 2 – 3 times before they lose their shape. There is a major difference between natural and synthetic lashes and you will notice it in not only the life span but also the way the lashes feel. Esqido lashes are incredibly soft and feather light and the band is flexible and soft on the lid. Synthetic lashes can often feel scratchy or stiff and the hairs can feel like plastic. The beauty of naturally derived lashes is that you get a natural outcome.

Each pair of Esqido lashes comes in a stunning white box with rose gold accents and a magnetic closure. The lashes also come with a leaflet that explains proper application, removal and care so whether you are an experienced wearer or new to lashes you will always know what to do.

The style that was best suited to my eye shape was “Oh So Sweet”*. These gorgeous lashes are flirty, fun and a little bit sexy. They fall into the middle of the range in terms of volume and have soft criss-crossing hairs that cover the entire band with the longest hairs concentrated in the centre. Each hair overlaps another creating a natural flutter effect that widens the eye and adds a hint of drama.

They are an absolute breeze to apply, after measuring and trimming the band to fit my eye, I apply a tiny bit of glue and wait about 15 seconds for it to get tacky. Then using a pair of tweezers I place the lash in the centre of my lid and then attach each end. The band is so flexible and soft that I can apply them in seconds and I never seem to have any issues with them moving or not sticking.

The hairs themselves are so soft and delicate that they blend effortlessly with my natural lashes and the end result looks like I grew some amazing lashes overnight. They are also ultra lightweight and feel like I have nothing on once the glue is dry. They are so comfortable that I can wear them for hours on end without ever needing to adjust or remove them because of comfort of irritation. It’s not hard to completely forget that I even have them on.

When I remove them, I use a little bit of makeup remover on a q-tip and remove all of the glue on the band before placing them back into their case for safe keeping. I have used them 3 times and they are just as amazing each and every time. Keep an eye out to see these beauties in action in a tutorial for this eye look coming soon on my Youtube Channel

If you are a false lash lover or just getting the bug then I highly suggest you give Esqido a try. I was so impressed with how they performed and my synthetic lashes will never look the same. I am a true blue natural lash convert and I think you might be too.

Esqido lashes range from $32 – $38 USD per pair and can be purchased on the Esqido website. Head over to the site and take the Esqido Lash Guide Quiz to find the perfect pair for you!

These are beautiful!! I also love that they're cruelty-free. I was a bit worried when I saw Mink, but it was for nothing. Go Esqido! I have never tried falsies but these tempt me – they're so pretty on you!

I wouldn't have tried them if they weren't cruelty free, I don't think i could ever put hair on my eyes that had been removed forcibly. It's so nice to see more and more products being made cruelty free.
