New In | Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Lip Gloss Trio

Hey Beauties!

When you combine one of my favourite brands and a collection inspired by the beauty of the ocean it’s inevitable that my mermaid life aspirations will fall head over heels. When I first saw photos of Elizabeth Arden’s Limited Edition Sunkissed Pearls Colour Collection for Spring/Summer 2015 I may have had a small heart attack from how insanely stunning the packaging was not to even mention the products.

The collection is inspired by “the lustrous colours of pearls” and “combines subtle iridescent tints with deep mysterious tones of the sea”. It offers a Bronzer and Highlighter compact, a Gel Eye Liner, three Cream Eyeshadow Stylos and this gorgeous Lip Gloss Trio. Each product highlights a certain portion of the face that would become naturally luminous after a day spent on the beach, cheeks are bronzed and glowing, eyes are sparkling and lips are rich and juicy. The Sunkissed Pearls collection makes it incredibly simple to get that effortless sun kissed glow that we all try to achieve with our makeup in the warmer months.

The Sunkissed Pearls Lip Gloss Trio* comes with three shades of Elizabeth Arden’s classic Beautiful Colour Luminous Lip Glosses repackaged into handy squeeze tubes that are perfect for throwing into a beach bag. The three shades; Pink Pearl, Coral Pearl and Berry Pearl all reflect different tones of a summer sunset and offer a shade for everyones tastes.

The Beautiful Colour Luminous Lip Glosses are unlike any glosses I have tried before, they are incredibly pigmented and the bold colour you see in the tube is exactly what translates to the skin. The vibrant shades are rich and multidimensional with subtle shimmer and a high gloss finish that add shape and glow to the lips. Once applied to the lips the thicker formula sheers out to a beautiful wash of sun kissed colour but can be amped up with a lipstick or liner underneath.

The formula itself is pretty incredible. The glosses are infused with nourishing and hydrating ingredients like Shea and Mango Butter that help to sooth, hydrate and protect with the power of a balm. Your lips feel comfortable, moisturized and all around healthier without ever feeling sticky or unnatural. They also feature Maxi-Lip which helps to promote natural collagen production for plumper, fuller looking lips. With all of the hydrating properties these glosses have surprisingly great lasting power and fade evenly so you don’t have to worry about patchiness.

Berry Pearl | Pink Pearl | Coral Pearl

The Beautiful Colour Luminous Lip Glosses are really fantastic and unique. They pack a bright punch of colour and have incredible lasting power but feel like an ultra hydrating balm. The Sunkissed Pearls Collection is the perfect opportunity to test out a few shades that are great staples in any collection. I highly recommend this collection and if you can’t get your hands on it then absolutely try a lipgloss from the regular line.

The Sunkissed Pearls Lip Gloss Trio retails for $29 and is available at Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs and Hudson’s Bay.

At a glance I thought those were a juicy-tube kind of thing. But those swatches – daaamn! The description sounds like Clarins Eclat Minute glosses, only packing more color.
