Style Saturday | How To Style A Leather Jacket

Hey Beauties!

Unfortunately I am still stuck in bed with the never-ending cold/flu and I’ve only been wearing my comfiest yoga pants and coziest sweaters. This brutal winter has really taken a toll on me and I just can’t wait for Spring to come around so I can get back to wearing my favourite outfits and spending time in the sunshine. Since I didn’t have an outfit post to share with you today I thought I would look back through some previous posts to show you  how I like to style one of my wardrobe staples – a leather jacket.

A leather -or pleather – jacket is in my opinion one of the most essential pieces to any wardrobe. You can dress them up, dress them down, bundle them up or throw them over your shoulders. There are a million and one ways you can wear a leather jacket and they are so easy to personalize to your aesthetic because they come in so many different styles. A good Moto jacket is a great place to start, they are casual but can be altered to work with just about anything. Then you can always branch out to more structured blazers or even jackets with oversized lapels. There are so many possibilities and don’t limit yourself to black, a jacket in camel, brown, taupe, grey or even blush can be a winner in your wardrobe.

Leather bomber/biker jackets are staples of mine as well! Love the various way you've styled it- I especially love them paired with feminine dresses for a tough/ladylike contrast :)

I love a leather biker – you just cannot go wrong. One thing with a leather jacket is that it is essential to get the correct fit. Mine is far too big so, whilst okay to shove over a hoodie for 8am lectures, is not my favourite item right now. I'm currently hunting for the perfect leather jacket and it is proving difficult!Rachael at

I love your final look with the scarf! That's usually how I wear my pleather jacket, I think my staples at the moment are a plaid shirt and a comfy v-neck. I'm excited to move into spring to wear these out more without my parka covering everything up!!
