Review | Rimmel ScandalEyes

Every girl needs a few staple items in her makeup collection and one of my must haves is a set of go to, pair with everything eyeliners. A little bit of eyeliner can do so much for the face and it can completely change your look but it can be difficult to find the perfect one that won’t transfer, smudge or fade. Well, my favourite affordable eyeliners are the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajals.

The Scandaleyes pencils are quite popular in the beauty world and rightly so because they are the best eyeliners you can get at the drugstore. They are very similar to higher priced options from Urban Decay and they are available in ten shades which is unusual for an affordable brand. The shades range from neutral browns and blacks to bright blues and purples, even including a nude! The formula is the best bit because it is literally perfect.  It is incredibly creamy and glides on smoothly without tugging, skipping or pulling on the skin – a major pet peeve – and it lasts all day long.

Personally, I own the brown, taupe, black, light blue and nude. The black is my favourite for tight lining because it does not budge, and the nude is amazing for the waterline. I much prefer a nude to a stark white to open up the eyes, it looks much more natural. The taupe and the brown and great for smudging along the lashline for an easy day to day eye and the light blue is gorgeous under the lower lashline for a pop of colour.

I really do love these pencils and I will recommend them to any and everyone. If you have not tried these eyeliners, run out and pick one up right now!

I bet the nude looks awesome. Like you said, the white on the waterline is a bit obvious. :] // itsCarmen.com ☼

These are incredible. My go-to is the sparkly black to add a little glitter to my look, and I love the nude to brighten up tired, red eyes!

I absolutely love the nude eyeliner, so good for wearing everyday but I find they're a so soft and creamy I really struggle to sharpen them and it just makes a mess. Some of the other colours look really pretty to.www.rhiannon-rose.co.uk

It may seem silly but my trick is to put them in the freezer for just a few minutes before i sharpen them, it helps a lot!

I only have the nude but totally agree, it's much better for opening up the eyes than a white pencil xxMeet Me On My Sofa

Just had a flashback! A dual ended black and grey rimmel scandaleyes was my very first makeup product. How nostalgic. 😛

The Scandaleyes line is pretty great in general. I have a jumbo eye pencil that I've repurchased 3 times for highlighting my inner corners. Nothing else works as well!
