On Sunday I had the absolute best time visiting the new Village Station Bazaar located in the old Ferguson Station in the International Village in Hamilton. This was the second instalment of the new Bazaar that brings attention to local businesses and gives them the oppourtunity to come together and show Hamilton what they have to offer. It is an absolutely amazing way to make use of the old train station and to bring awareness to local entrepreneurs and artisans that call the International Village home. The Bazaar features food, fashion, florists, live music, vintage, memorabilia and books from a variety of hosts such as Cafe Oranje, J.H Gordon Books, Girl On The Wing, The Eye Of Faith, Love In The Afternoon, Burlap & Twine, and Vintage Soul Geek. There are so many little treasures that can be found while celebrating Hamilton culture. I actually found a vintage powder puff box from Paris and an old copy of Alice in Wonderland, something that I collect!
The Village Station Bazaar will have two more instalments on July 6th and August 3rd from 11am to 5pm.
