Every Sunday, I like to take a break from the day to day for a little me time, and the best place for me to do that is my amazing clawfoot bath tub. A long warm soak is incredibly helpful to me because I have an auto-immune disorder that affects my muscles and joints, so I absolutely neeeed to enjoy my time in the bathtub. Occassionaly, I will put on some music, close my eyes and just relax but my weekly pamper night is something I really look forward to.
My pamper essentials are pretty simple. I need a yummy candle, a good book, a glass of wine or tea, a good face mask and bubbles, lots of bubbles.
I like to burn at least one candle and this time I chose my Sweet Pea and Jasmine candle from Target. Next I like to grab a good book (Summer at Tiffanys by Marjorie Hart is my current obsession) and a glass of yummy wine. I set them over the tub and then slap on a face mask, my two favourites are both by Origins – the Out of Trouble and Clear Improvement. I like to leave these one for at least the first half of my bath to let them really sink in.
Next, I like add my favourite part – the bubbles! This week, I picked out my new bath bomb from bomb cosmetics, it didn’t have much of a smell but it was incredibly moisturizing and i loved the little star shaped glitter – they did not stick to me thankfully.
Once my bath is finished, I will pop out and cover myself in body butter and then do a little cuticle care.
And thats that! A simple but super relaxing night where my mind, body and soul are all pampered to bits.
