A Little Glitter Never Hurt Nobody

On a recent drugstore date with my very good friend Heather, I was on the hunt for some new spring appropriate nail polishes. Instead, I may have found the most beautiful glitter in the world! Revlon’s Girly nail polish is actually part of the Bubble Gum Days/ Urban Nights collection from last spring. It has a baby pink base with pink, blue, lavender, fuchsia and holographic hexagonal glitters in various sizes. The glitter is really well distributed throughout the base and it applies pretty evenly. It does, however, require quite a bit of drying time to avoid smudging. To enhance the colours in the glitter I applied Essie’s Fiji – a baby pink – as a base then put the glitter over top. The result is so incredibly pretty and definitely girly!

I can see myself breaking out this combination for special events or when I need a little bit of fun in my life. It is so unique and definitely not something I expected to find at the drugstore.

Nice color! I remember seeing it last year and I almost got it. Instead I got a similar one from Hard Candy, a minty one!

Love the colour combo! I'm not a huge fan of glitter (i.e. because of how hard it is to remove) but the love the colours you put together here 🙂
