February is always one of my favourite months of the year with Valentine’s Day and my birthday. While i hate the bitterly cold weather, I tend to start breaking out the Spring makeup around this time, so February always brightens my mood. I’ve been playing with a few new products this month as well as a couple old favourites.
Stila In The Light Palette: I received this palette from my amazing boyfriend for Valentine’s Day and I have not put it down ever since. The quality is amazing and I love the combination of matte and shimmer neutral tones. The eyeliner it comes with is also fantastic.
Revlon Lacquer Balm in Demure: For the longest time I could not find any of the lacquer or matte balms but I finally got my hands on them and I have fallen in love with this beauty. I will admit I like the matte balms a bit more but i love the femininity of a pale pink glossy lip.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze: I become a bit of a lazy bum during the winter so i tend to go easy on the makeup. I love the convenience and simplicity of the colour tattoos and this one if my favourite. A quick swipe of colour and a little mascara makes a world of difference.
Nyx Blush in Dusty Rose: Blush is my absolute favourite beauty product to buy but I’m always a teeny bit scared of brighter colours against my super fair skin. I prefer to buy more neutral rosy tones that I can wear with any look. That’s exactly why I love this one. It gives the perfect warm rosy flush without being too overwhelming.
Essie’s Aruba Blue: A blue nail is completely random for me. I normally stick to neutrals, reds and pinks but for some reason this colour just grabbed my attention and I love it!
Nyx HD Concealer Wand in Porcelain: I find it hard to fall in love with a concealer. They are too creamy, too dry, too sheer etc etc. It’s a Goldilocks type situation haha but this one seems just right. The shade is perfect for me, it is light enough to use under my eyes but not too bright that i can’t use it on blemishes. I really like the formula as well, creamy but sets well.
What have you been loving this month?
