Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder | Review & Swatches | Highlighting Without Shimmer or Glitter | labellesirene.ca

Hey Beauties!

Highlighting and contouring is all the rage right now and lets not forget about strobing, but those beauty trends can be a little too intense for the everyday. On those days when I want to add a subtle hint of light to my cheeks I reach for the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder.

The Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder retails for $48 CAD/ $40 USD and comes in 4 shades, 3 of which are bronze tones and 1 is a highlight. The shade 01 Highlight is the perfect everyday illuminator that gives a radiant, healthy glow.

The Basics

The Matte Radiance Baked Powders are the ideal highlighting powders for anyone that wants to get that lit from within glow without any shimmer or glitter but only a gorgeous natural luminosity. Contrary to their name, they are not at all matte but more of a radiant satin. This finish makes them the perfect middle ground highlighter that is visible and effective but not overwhelming.

The array of shades means there is an option for each and every skin tone but Highlight 01 is my personal favourite.

The Details

Highlight 01 is a stunning champagne gold highlight housed in a sleek black compact with a secure button release. It is an ultra smooth baked powder with an incredibly soft, fragile texture. The finely milled powder applies smoothly and provides sheer buildable coverage that can be layered to customize your glow. It is easy to blend into the skin without appearing dry or emphasizing pores or texture.

The subtle champagne sheen seems to adapt to various skin tones (from fair to tan) to provide the perfect refined, sophisticated glow that warms up the complexion. When applied on the high-points of the face (cheekbones, temples, bridge and tip of the nose, cupids bow), Highlight 01 adds a stunning soft radiance that completely brightens up the face to give a healthy glow. There is no in your face shimmer or over the top shine but only a beautiful soft matte radiance.

The Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powders are the most beautiful, naturally luminous highlighting powders on the market. They can be layered and customized to fit any preference and can be used in so many ways. Highlight 01 would be the perfect powder for a special day like a wedding or even just to give your skin that flawlessly radiant glow on a daily basis.

I absolutely love my powder and I think it is such a special product that anyone would love. It would even make an amazing gift!

You can buy the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powders from Sephora or the Laura Mercier website
