My Very Own "Glass" Slipper | The Cinderella ShoesWednesday, May 13, 2015
I don't think it is any sort of surprise that I am a massive Disney fan, I have mentioned Disney related things in the past and my social media constantly features little peeks into my love for all things Disney.
I have been a Disney fan for as long as I can remember, I grew up watching the original black and white short films and almost every photo of me from my childhood features some sort of Disney character. I was a big Tinkerbell fan and Minnie Mouse was practically my idol. I have carried that love throughout my life and to this day nothing makes me happier than a classic Disney film.
You can imagine how incredibly excited I was when Disney released Cinderella a few months ago, it was a dream come true to see one of my favourite fairy tales come to life on the big screen and I may have seen it three times in a matter of days. The magic of that movie completely took over and I wanted to hunt down the perfect Cinderella accessories to keep in my office. I found a small glass slipper, Gus and Jac (the mice) and the perfect pair of Cinderella Shoes.
I think every girl has dreamt of her own pair of glass slippers at some point in her life - I definitely have! There is something so magical about that perfect pair of glistening heels that makes you feel like a true princess.
I found my glass slippers at Suzy Sheer and they have a rather conservative 4 inch heel. I quite like the height because it means I might actually wear these once in awhile. They are a silver pump that is completely encrusted in silver rhinestones and accented with larger gems at the heel and toes. They have a rounded toe that meets in a slight point which I think is really flattering and much more comfortable than a strict point.
I really love my Cinderella shoes and I am so incredibly happy that I found them.
Keep your eyes peeled for another Cinderella inspired post coming soon with my glass slippers and my very own tulle skirt!
Are you a Disney fan? Did you see Cinderella?
