Hey Beauties!

I always like to change up my makeup choices for every different season and fall and winter are probably my favourite. I love being able to play with different more jewel tone colours on the eyes and bolder shades on the lips, I tend to have a bit of a love affair with dramatic makeup. The trick to pulling off those more statement making choices is to balance them with more subdued options in your base and blush.

Many people might choose to skip a cheek colour all together when rocking a bold lip but personally I think it is much better to apply a neutral toned blush. A more nude or berry toned blush will help to brighten up your complexion as well as add a bit of depth to the face without becoming overwhelming when paired with a red lip or smokey eye. I have compiled my three favourite neutral blushes that I think you can wear with just about anything.

1. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12hr Blush in Exposed ($31) - a subtle nude

2. NARS Powder Blush in Sin ($35) - a berry with slight golden shimmer

3. Benefit Cosmetics Boxed Blush in Rockateur ($36) - the perfect mauvey rose gold

(L-R - Rockateur - Sin - Exposed)

I have been loving all three of these blushes for the past couple of months and I know I am going to be wearing them non-stop! What are your favourite no blush blushes?

  1. Exposed is in my top 3 blushes. I never thought much of it in the pan, but applied it is just gorgeous!

  2. Lovely picks! Exposed is one of my favourite versatile blushes- must give Sin a go too! xo

  3. I have a shade very simmilar to Exposed in my collection and I completely agree - it's the perfect one to pair with a bold true red lip.

Am I seeing a golden shimmer in Sin? Way to ruin a mauve blush for me :( But that's a completely personal preference.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I read and try to reply to every single one!
