My Everyday Spring MakeupFriday, May 16, 2014
Lately, I've been sticking to a bit of a routine with my makeup. I've discovered a few products that have been working beautifully with the warmer weather and my new found love for bolder lip colours.
I just recently discovered the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation and it has quickly become a favourite. The shade range is great and the lightest of the bunch is a perfect match for my fair skin. The coverage is super versatile so I can still blend it out to let my freckles show through or I can build it up when my skin needs a little extra help. I love to mix in a little bit of the L'oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer with my foundation to add a healthy glow and then I follow up with the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand in porcelain to cover any redness and to brighten up the area under my eyes. This concealer is amazing and that is all I will say because I have a review in the works!
I have been keeping the cheeks relatively neutral with The Balm's Frat Boy blush, the perfect peachy pink that comes across as a natural flush and then I have been adding a bit more glow with a small amount of the Cindy Lou Manizer highlighting powder along the top of my cheekbones. This combination is absolutely gorgeous and seems to go well with any lip colour.
For the eyes, I have been keeping it simple with my Maybelline Master Precise Felt-tip Liner smudged along the lash line and my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara on curled lashes. Then to finish off the look I have been pulling out the bright bold lips in pink and orange tones. In the photo above I am wearing Revlon's Matte Balm in Elusive.
So there you have my recent everyday makeup routine that I have been mixing up with different blushes and lip colours. What have you been wearing for spring?
