Spring Polish PicksThursday, March 27, 2014
A perfectly polished nail is the only way to complete a look - unlike clothes or shoes, a polish will always fit. It will go with every outfit and it even makes my PJ's seem chic. I am a bit of a colour junkie when it comes to nail polish, my collection is chalked full of bright pinks, corals, red and blues. All of which tend to get ignored in the winter for plums, wines and nudes. So when Spring comes around, I cannot wait to bust out my pastels and muted neon - Essiebutton term. I gathered up my favourite spring polishes from two of my most worn brands, Essie and L'oreal to give you some nail-spiration!
Essie is by far my favourite brand of polish, the wide brush, smooth formula and show stopping shades make for a massive collection in my house. The 7 Essie polishes that I would recommend for Spring are Fiji ( a sheer pale pink), Tart Deco ( a peachy coral), Mod Square ( a bright barbie pink), Peach Daiquiri (a peachy pink), Play Date ( a blue toned purple), Lilacism ( a true lilac) and Mint Candy Apple (the perfect minty green).
I love L'oreal mostly for their unique effects and designer collections but lately they have been killing it in the pastels department. Two that I have been obsessed with are Butterfly Kisses (an orchid pink) and Smell the Roses ( a dusty rose). I cannot wait to get my hands on their new Les Blancs Collection and see if they are just as amazing.
What Spring polishes are you loving?
